How To Buy Your Signal Box

We sell our signal box in a standard size as shown below or you can opt to have a signal box custom made to your own specifiaction, so whether you want to recreate the Golden Age of Steam in your own garden or surprise a rail enthusiast with a nostalgic shed for life, we can create your perfect solution. .

Standard Signal Box

Each signal box comes complete with a genuine slate roof, guttering sytem and the ridge is flashed with lead. The windows and door are individually glazed with 6mm glass and the front centre window slides to open/close. For the roof timbers and walls joists we use a 3” by 2” timber which is covered by a protective moisture membrane barrier and then an additional skin of anti-rot treated tongue & groove cladding finishes the outside wall, whilst the internal walls are finished with a 9mm plywood complete with architrave.The floor is constructed using 4” by 3” timber joists which are then covered in a 22mm chipboard. The fire bucket, clock and signs are also included.
